LWVUS Study Project:
The Role of the Federal Government in Public Education

Please join us as we participate in a national consensus study on the role of the federal government ion education. We will have two meetings to review the material and gather the LWV Anchorage response to the consensus questions.

The first meeting will be Thursday, November 10, 2011, 6-8:30 pm and will focus on "Core Standards"
The second meeting will be Saturday, November 12, 9a, - 11:30 am and will focus on "Equity and Funding"

You are urged to participate  in both meetings but you may choose to only participate in one meeting.  The public is welcome to attend and participate in the discussions. Only League members may take part in the actual consensus.
